I don’t know what to say… the power and the way the brushcutter works are very reminiscent of a STIHL, but on the other hand, the original’s flaws become apparent.
Build quality: (at a quarter of the original’s price, you have to turn a blind eye to certain things…) If a STIHL is a 10, then Holzfforma is… 5/10.
This brushcutter is definitely a cut above typical Chinese products.
Of course, there are some flaws, but some can be easily fixed – for example, the cutting head, although it looks sturdy, breaks the line and doesn’t fit perfectly against the gearbox; however, these issues can be sorted out in 5 minutes with a file.
Design: Well, it’s hard to expect a clone not to inherit the original’s flaws. It works perfectly in some situations, but for most applications, the FF450 is the better choice.
